The Fine Print
- Offer available until 12/31/24 and is not available to existing Energy One Credit Union checking members.
- A minimum $50 opening deposit is required.
- The offer is not available to those whose accounts have been closed within the last 90 days or closed with a negative balance.
- Limit one new checking bonus per person per account.
- Application is subject to approval.
- The account must remain open and receiving your payroll direct deposit for six months from the time of the account opening.
- This promo is only for Premier One and Free One Checking accounts.
- This promo can be changed, amended, or canceled at any time by Energy One Federal Credit Union.
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict
Normally I don’t post bonuses that are only available to select employee groups but to be honest I finished writing this post before I realized that. Hopefully useful to some readers.
