McDonald’s has announced that starting 5/4 the MyMcdonald’s rewards program will be changing.
- 1500 points: Hash Browns, Apple Pie, small Premium Roast Coffee or more.
- 2000 points: McChicken®, Cheeseburger or Sausage Biscuit.
- 3500 points: Medium Fries, Sausage Burrito, 6 pc. Chicken McNuggets®, large Iced Coffee or Sausage McGriddles®.
- 4000 points: Get $3 OFF your order (New)
- 5000 points: large Fries, Sausage McMuffin® with Egg, Filet-O-Fish®, large Frappé or Hotcakes.
- 7000 points: Big Mac®, Quarter Pounder®^ with Cheese, Happy Meal®, Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit, 10 pc.
This is just a huge devaluation across the board. For example the 2,000 point tier used to just be included in the 1,500 point tier. 3,500 point tier used to cost 3,000 points, 5,000 point tier used to cost 4,500 points and 7,000 point tier used to be 6,000 points. Starbucks launched a new rewards program earlier this year, Panera also made changes and Subway gutted it’s program.
