• ACNB is offering up to a $2,000 business checking bonus when you meet the following requirements:
  • Open account in branch
  • Enroll in online banking with eDocuments within 60 days.
  • Establish a Mastercard® debit card and make 10 unique transactions within 60 days.
  • Earn:
    • Earn $2,000 when you maintain an average monthly balance of $25,000 for three consecutive months following the first statement cycle. 
    • Earn $1,000 when you maintain an average monthly balance of $10,000 for three consecutive months following the first statement cycle.

The Fine Print

• Offer is limited and subject to change or cancellation without notice.
• Cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions or discounts.
• Offer does not apply to existing Traditions Bank or ACNB Bank business checking account customers or those who closed a business checking account in the last 12 months.
• Trust and estate accounts, government entities and municipalities are not eligible.
• Limit of one gift per entity for up to 3 entities with common ownership.
• Cash gift will be deposited in the new account after all requirements have been met and verified.
• Requirements: within 60 days of opening a new Free Business Checking Account (1) Establish and log into Online Banking and enroll in eDocuments; (2) Establish a Mastercard® debit card and conduct 10 unique transactions (it may take more than two days for a transaction to post and clear); (3) maintain the minimum average monthly balance requirement for the 3 consecutive months following the first statement cycle.
• Cash Gift: Accounts maintaining $25,000 or more qualify for a $2,000 cash gift; accounts maintaining between $10,000 and $24,999 qualify for a $1,000 cash gift.
• Customer may be subject to 1099 INT reporting. 
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict

Seems like an insane bonus, annualized return of 32% if you time things perfectly. Not sure how strict they are on business checking bonuses.
