• Ameriprise Financial is offering a checking & savings bonus of up to $900. Broken down as follows:
  • Earn $300 when you open a new checking account and receive at least $2,000 in direct deposits each calendar month for four consecutive calendar months. 
  • Earn $300 when you open a new savings account and make eligible deposits totaling $25,000 or more in the offer period and maintain  a daily balance equal to or greater than your balance on April 7, 2026, plus at least $25,000 of Eligible Deposits through September 30, 2026
  • Earn an extra $300 ($900 total) when you do both

Our Verdict

Last savings bonus was for $450 and same/similar requirements. Savings account earns 3.05% APY when you have a balance of $25,000+. You want to add funds towards the end of the offer period (June 30) to reduce the amount of time you need to hold them there. If you time it perfectly it’s 92 days, but more likely to be closer to 100 days to be safe. The savings portion then ends up being an additional ~4.38% annualized for a total return of ~7.43%, that’s better than standard savings rates and you also get an extra $300 if you do both the checking & savings bonuses. 

This is one of the better Ameriprise bonuses we have seen and will be added to our best bank account bonus pages. Spoilt for choices with nationwide bank bonuses lately.
