• SMW Financial Credit Union is offering a bonus of up to $250 when you open a new rewards checking account. Bonus broken down as follows:
  • Set up eStatements, online banking, and debit card and receive a $100 bonus
  • Receive additional $150 when you meet the monthly qualfications at least once within the first three months of account opening 
    •  fifteen (15) debit card transactions of at least $3 that post and clear your account each month
    • at least $1,000 in direct deposit/ACH credits posted during each calendar month
    • member must be signed up for eStatements

The Fine Print

• Offer available from now until June 30, 2026. All new accounts are subject to standard account membership terms and disclosures.
• Eligible account type to receive $100 at the time of opening is a Reward checking account with eStatements, online banking, and debit card. Member is eligible for an additional $150 deposit into the new checking account after meeting the monthly qualifications at least once within the first three months after account opening.
• Existing members do not qualify for this offer.
• Monthly Qualification Cycle is the first day of the month to the last day of each calendar month.
• To earn your account’s rewards, the following enrollments must be in place and all transactions and activities must post and settle to your selected Reward Checking account during each Monthly Qualification Cycle: Qualifications include fifteen (15) debit card transactions of at least $3 that post and clear your account each month, at least $1,000 in direct deposit/ACH credits posted during each calendar month and member must be signed up for eStatements.

Our Verdict

There is also a $50/$25 referral program, please do not share your referrals below until it is confirmed they stack. Bonus itself seems relatively easy to do and usually when it’s worded like this anything will work to trigger the ACH credit. Please share your experiences in the the comments below.
